The newborn Erasmus project "RARE R.O.U.T.E.S", needs a logo!
The students of the 5th year of the Amedeo Modigliani Liceo Artistico worked hard and came up with a series of impressive logos among which it has been difficult to choose!
Among the different ideas, 4 were selected as finalists. Between Monday February 15th and Wednesday 17th we will do a series of polls on the Instagram profile @travel_mamager_project to pick the winner.

For the creation of this logo, we started by finding an idea of an image that would represent the purpose of the project. After various tests, we made a decision: choosing a geographical map, which would include the whole world. This map was then colored green, the color of eco-sustainability. In the top part, the red position / destination symbol has been added which, in relation to the map, indicates that these are “rare” trips, as they also reach distant countries.
For the creation of the second logo he took inspiration from the stickers trending in the 80s and 90s, which many people collected and stuck on suitcases, cars or Volkswagen vans.
The shape chosen for the “RARE R.O.U.T.E.S” logo is circular, created on purpose so that it can be easily printed on adhesive paper and given to students to stick on their suitcases.
It is also a versatile logo, easily applicable on t-shirts or other things.
The colors used are the typical ones that can be seen in travel stickers, therefore colors that refer to adventure.
The right combination makes it possible to highlight every element in the logo, stressing at the same time the word "RARE R.O.U.T.E.S".
For the making of this logo I started from the shape of a foot; a leaf was added to this footprint to replace the heel. The entire work was colored green to give a sense of nature. The foot represents travel without pollution, whilst the leaf represents nature and therefore the concept of sustainability is important for the environment. Finally, the phrase "RARE R.O.U.T.E.S" was added with the font "Tommy’s First Alphabet" to give a sense of naturalness and spontaneity to the logo.
For the realization of the “RARE R.O.U.T.E.S” logo, I initially hand-drawn various sketches; afterward (handmade) I worked on the draft of the logo that I considered the most suitable up to the definitive one and then moved on to digital realization.
The logo is made up of two parts: on the left is the imprint of a boot, while on the right is the phrase "RARE R.O.U.T.E.S". The choice of this symbol and this font are not random, indeed I chose the boot to pick up the theme of travel connected to eco-sustainability, using this very natural font. As for the choice of color, I decided to use only 2 colors: black for the footprint of the boot and green for the text.
